How do we proceed?

During the request of your design, some information will be obtained from you in what kind of style you want your design, how many and which colors etc. See also the page colors & info

Then a start is made with drawing your design. As a possible option, there is also the possibility that you create your own design. Designs drawn on paper are always worked out on the computer so that everything is clear. We also think along in any additional effects etc. if this is desirable.

Please note!! Absolutely no designs of other artists/riders are sprayed. It is a personal element for a rider and we want to keep this personal! So we only work with personal designs!

If there is an agreement from both parties, we ask you for a 50% deposit. As soon as it has been received, we will start with your helmet. After a final agreement, only minor adjustments are possible, please make this negotiable as soon as possible! In case of too many possible adjustments, additional costs may be involved.

As an extra option there is also the possibility that you can purchase your new helmet at Schalkie's Designs. Tinted and mirror visors are also available from us. Let us know and we can take this into account. Any extras that are purchased must be paid immediately together with the 50% deposit of the design.

During the process of your helmet, you will be kept informed of progress made. This can be done by means of photos and with special effects it can also be done by means of videos.

When the design is heading towards the final phase, an appointment will be made with the sprayer for the clear coat and you will also be informed of this. Also, when the clear coat has been sprayed, you will receive detailed photos of the helmet finished and the remaining amount can be paid, after which your helmet will be sent.
